Assembling a Sunjar

Sun jar is basically meant for conserving the solar energy; it contains a solar cell to restore sun energy and a bulb followed by a simple transistor. Sun jars contributes a great significance in terms of your budget and much more tempting than a store-bought solar garden light. You can add this magnificent and cost effective product to your home or garden by simply assembling it with no difficulty.
Assembling of a sun jar may take few but simple steps to follow:

Open up a solar garden light. You can easily find them at any local hardware store.

Take out the necessary electronics part out of it and try to recycle the remaining part of the lamp, if possible.

Affix these necessary items of the solar garden light, which you took out, into the jar with the help of adhesive.

You can also spray the inner of the jar with glass frosting to diffuse the light.

Now close the lid and handle it with care, your solar jar is ready to use.

It can be easily charged by leaving it in an open place where it obtains direct sun-light. Sun jar can also be charged indoor but it will not be able to give the required output, so it is recommended to put it on roof top or near sunny windows. You can get better results by conserving the energy. If you switch it off when you are not in need of light and while charging it, your sun jar battery life can also be improved.
The illumination of sun jar is effected only in cloudy season or in winters as the sun is available for less time, so it illuminates for lesser time due to less charging. If weather is continuously cloudy or bad, you can make your sun jar available to lit by charging the batteries through a normal battery charger.
